AND WINTER LEFT

I know that it might be controversial to be happy about the early signs of spring in February. A month that is supposed to be the hardest and coldest of them all. However, I am not the only one in springy mood. Foxes are barking in the woods, mating with one another. The titmouse is singing happily every morning. And today, on my way to work, I heard the long ddddrrrrrrrrr of a woodpecker that tries to lure some females to his territory.

Early spring flowers are peeping out from everywhere, and even the catkins of the trees are suddenly everywhere to be seen. Spring came with one day warning, and I think that it is here to stay.
