Right before the clouds rolled in over the blue sky, the sunrise once again showed itself from the most amazing side. As I worked at the nature base, I spotted the glimpse of light in between the branches of the trees, and not even they could hide it. Their naked branches could do nothing against the shine that fell on my face, even though I stood in the middle of the forest. When the trees are naked, the light from the sun painted them orange, and as I walked down to the coast, I passed through heathers which stood on sandy grounds; dark red and strong. A few pinetrees rose above the forest and variated the colours with their green needles. All in all, the sun played an artist today – painting nature in its own favourite warm colours. Even on a cold December day.
