I write this post on a rainy cold Sunday, where the only thing you want to do is to put on a warm sweater, woollen socks and sit cosy and toasty indoors with a cup of tea while the rain drums against the windows. Though, since I work at a place that has its own farm animals, they need food every day. Therefore, to give our caretakers some weekend, we make sure to take shifts feeding the animals. Today was my turn.
I ventured out into the cold day, put on a pair of rubber boots and used three hours to feed the wet (and hungry) animals. Right before the rain decided to fall, I snapped this picture of the autumn garden. I absolutely love the light of the morning sun painting it all in a warm red colour. Showing the true colours of autumn.
